When sports and business joined forces..

On Saturday September 21, 2024, took place at the cultural center called Plechárna in Prague's Černý Most another Gamechangers networking, which was part of the 18th edition of the festival Stop Zevling.

The event, which brought together personalities from Sports and Business, offered inspiring stories and space for discussion and networking. JANDASPORT^®, as a long-time participant and now a main partner, facilitated, along with the organizers, this extraordinary platform for meeting people who are changing the game, whether in sports or business.

Inspiring personalities in the spotlight.

The event was opened by Vít Janda, Co-Founder JANDASPORT^® and several other companies. Vítek openly shared his journey with the participants, both in the sports world and in the academic and business fields. He also outlined how we at JANDASPORT^®support athletes by taking care of their marketing, sponsorships, accounting, and other matters so they can fully focus on their sport.

The biggest attention was naturally drawn by Jiří Beran, the recent bronze medalist in fencing at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, builder, and operator of the family fencing equipment store 5MFENCING. Jirka not only described his thrilling experience at the Olympics but also shared what sport means to him beyond the arenas—the values he upholds and how he deals with the challenges of everyday life. Meeting and taking photos with Jirka was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the event.

Another interesting speaker was Robert Mazouch, Chairman of the Czech Wrestling Association and newly appointed COO of the Czech company eD groupRobert shared his extensive experience in the financial sector, particularly with the Erste Group, his sports background, and his current role leading the Czech Wrestling Association. He surprised the audience with statistics on how the physical fitness of young people has evolved compared to data from 30 years ago. Robert also introduced his project, Victory Kids, which aims to bring more young children to sports and wrestling through extracurricular activities in nearly 100 schools.

Petr Kovařík, since 2011 Co-Founder of Steiner & Kovařík, a premium brand specializing in luxury chocolates and especially dragees, almost shocked the participants with some facts about chocolate. He highly recommended chocolate to athletes, even more so than energy drinks. However, he was referring to high-quality chocolate that contains all the beneficial ingredients, not the "cheap" chocolate typically found in supermarkets. Participants also had the opportunity to taste chocolate from the Steiner & Kovařík workshop during the event.

The final speaker was Radim Navrátil, a cybersecurity specialist, Head of IT SECurity at Next Generation Security Solutions , and Presales Security Consultant at TOTAL SERVICE. However, the event was not just about presentations from individual speakers. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussions with the speakers, creating a unique atmosphere full of mutual inspiration and exchange of experiences. Stories of successes and setbacks, and what sport gives and takes, offered new perspectives for anyone who wants to succeed not only on the field but also in life.
