The communication for the Wrestling Federation
is now handled by JANDASPORT®.

A journey that is set to culminate at the Summer Olympics in 2028 in Los Angeles. The Czech Wrestling Federation has embarked on this path together with JANDASPORT®, an agency specializing in sports marketing. The goal of their long-term collaboration is to enhance the federation's communication on social media, involve top wrestlers, and also create content about recovery, nutrition, and the Victory Kids project.

Wrestling is one of the oldest sports in the world, with its roots tracing back to ancient Greece and Rome. It is a dynamic combat sport where two opponents use technique, strength, and tactics to control their opponent or force them to make contact with the mat, according to the rules of the given style. There are three Olympic styles of wrestling: Greco-Roman (for men, where only upper-body holds are allowed), freestyle (for men, where holds on the entire body are allowed), and women's wrestling, which follows the same rules as men's freestyle and has been fully part of the Olympic program since 2004. Women's wrestling has been growing in popularity in recent years and has a strong base in the Czech Republic, where female wrestlers regularly compete in world and European championships.
Wrestling has millions of active male and female athletes worldwide and has been a part of the Summer Olympic Games throughout their entire history, making it one of the few sports to achieve this distinction. The Czech Republic has a rich tradition in this sport, with its greatest achievement being the gold medal won by Vítězslav Mácha at the Munich 1972 Olympics. This success was followed by other medal-winning performances by Czech and Czechoslovak wrestlers, with the most recent being a bronze medal by Marek Švec at the Beijing 2008 Olympics. Currently, there are over 2,500 active wrestlers, coaches, and referees in the Czech Republic, who regularly participate in domestic and international competitions. To encourage more young athletes to take up wrestling, the Victory Kids project was created, aiming to bring new talents to the sport, support their growth, and, most importantly, address the societal issue of children’s physical (in)abilities.
Victory Kids not only helps children master the basic techniques of wrestling but also teaches them discipline, perseverance, and a healthy lifestyle. The collaboration with the JANDASPORT® agency will be of great significance in this regard – with improved communication and broader media coverage, it will be possible to reach more young prospects and show that wrestling is not only a physically demanding sport but also a great way to develop personality and the will to overcome obstacles.
As part of the new strategy, there will also be improved data and match statistics management. Fans and the professional community can look forward to more detailed match analyses, information about the performance of wrestlers, and historical data. This will make it possible to track the development of individual athletes as well as the entire Czech wrestling scene on the path to international success.
The JANDASPORT® agency has long focused on marketing and communication in the sports sector. It collaborates with top athletes, organizations, and clubs, helping them build their brand, increase media exposure, and highlight their activities. With its expertise and experience, it will play a key role in modernizing the communication of the Czech Wrestling Federation and supporting its long-term goals.
The agency is part of the projects led by Vít Janda, a former floorball national team player. At the agency, they leverage knowledge of both the sports environment and sports marketing, as well as video production and communication with the younger generation.
"I am very excited about the collaboration, through which we will be able to bring young people back to sports and also popularize one of the oldest sports in the world." says Vít Janda, the founder of JANDASPORT®.
"I believe that this collaboration will help boost our sport, our federation, and our athletes in terms of marketing and media exposure. We have great representatives and talents who have the potential to win medals at top competitions such as European Championships, World Championships, and the Olympics. At the same time, we also have the Victory Kids program, which addresses the societal issue of children's physical (in)abilities. I am really looking forward to our collaboration with JANDASPORT®." says Robert Mazouch, the president of the Czech Wrestling Federation.
